We are in BETA through mid-August. Things may change or break. We appreciate your patience!

We help St. Louis gardeners find the best local sources--fast.

Our goal is the ultimate curated list of resources for gardeners, from local garden centers, nurseries, growers, and suppliers, regardless of the size of their operation or their ad-spend.

What do we offer you?

Home
Gardeners

Find the plant, tool, or material you need -- with the variety you want and a competitive price -- from trusted, local businesses. Skip the big box and discover native growers and specialty suppliers hiding in plain sight, just around the corner from you.

Backyard Nurseries
& Popups

You might be small, but you’re mighty -- and you deserve to be seen. Pop-ups and backyard growers often have short seasons, limited hours, and no ad budget. That makes it tough to build a following. We help gardeners find you online, no tech skills required.

Retail Garden Centers
& Nurseries

You’ve built something that lasts. Let gardeners know what makes you stand out: your specialties, seasonal availability, or native plant focus. Add the kind of detail search engines (and real people) care about, and get discovered beyond your own site or social feeds.

How It Started

Hostas were my gateway drug

My mom introduced me to the hosta years ago. But I quickly found a frustrating wall:

  • The common variety hostas are cheap and easy to find at the big box stores.
  • Larger local nurseries have a great variety, but you often pay crazy top dollar.
  • If you wanted something unique and affordable, you waited for the once-a-year Hosta Society sale or some amazing event you discovered happen last week that you missed.

There had to be something in between. Other places. More variety. A good deal. But finding it? Way, way harder than it should be. And, frankly, that's dumb.

StLouisGardner.com exists because you shouldn’t need a calendar, a road trip, or an insider tip just to find good plants and garden goodies nearby.

Sellers -- Interesting in Partnering With Us?

We actively forming a small advisory group of local sellers to help shape this platform.

Contact us if you are interesting in contributing and are:

  • A backyard, popup, or seasonal seller (commonly 1-3 workers)

  • A mid-sized garden center or nursery (5-20 employees)

  • A larger, established business with a wide garden offering (20+ employees)

You’ll help us refine features and plan the future. In return, you'll be featured as a Partner -- someone that donated time to help build a resource of value to gardeners and local sellers. If that’s you, get in touch.
